Marma Chikitsa is an ancient practice in the Siddha System of Medicine. It was first taught by Siddhar Agastya which was later adapted by other Siddhars. Each of the Siddhar brought it their own variations according to time, place, and need.
A Siddhar is a person who has a siddhi or an attainment of knowledge.
Currently, Marma Chikitsa is practiced in Southern as well as Norther parts of India. We follow the method as prescribed by Tirumoolar, a Siddhar.
